It’s the Little Things #89

Happy Friday! It’s time for some little things from this week. My hope is that these posts spark a little something with you, give you an idea or solve a problem for you too.  It might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series. This 4th of July weekend doesn’t feel like a typical holiday weekend, but we’re going to make the best of it with some youth baseball, some grilling out and a batch of homemade ice cream.  Sounds just about right, minus the fireworks and extended family fun.

I have a FREE SHIPPING sale on all orders over $50 in the shop through Sunday, July 5th. Use the coupon code FREEDOM for free shipping in the US. Not in the US? Use the coupon code 4TH for 10% off your order. Go here to shop Clean MamaGet FREE SHIPPING!

I’ve used a sweater shaver for years on clothes and furniture. The one I’ve used forever seemed to not be working as well, especially on our sofa that pills. I found this one and it blows the other one out of the water – so fast and effective. I also love the handle, it’s definitely more ergonomic and comfortable if you’re trying to de-pill a sectional sofa.

With things starting to open up and more contact with things outside of our homes, I just want to remind you of my new DIY Disinfecting recipes if you are looking for strong AND safe ways to disinfect surfaces. You’ll find a vinegar-based recipe and a soap-based recipe, both with over 60% alcohol in the recipe. Head to the blog post here.

I saw this recipe for Marinated Tomatoes on Pinch of Yum earlier this week and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about them. I’m not a huge tomato fan, but tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil? Yum!  I’m using them in a caprese style salad tonight.

What have you been enjoying this week? Any little things to share?
