Happy Friday! It’s time for some little things from this week. My hope is that these posts spark a little something with you, give you an idea or solve a problem for you too. It might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.
How’s has your week been going? We’re starting to s.l.o.w.l.y. get back out a bit with a couple socially distanced kid activities and I’m realizing that I really like a quieter summer. I’m not sure I’m ready to launch into all the activity again. Slow and steady is how we’re playing it. We do smoothies daily around here for breakfast. The kids aren’t always into them but they do like them for a quick breakfast addition and especially after a morning sports practice. Here’s one that’s works for breakfast or for a snack.
Orange juice + frozen fruit (the kids’ favorite is this berry and mango blend) + a handful of spinach (optional) – we do 16 ounces of orange juice with frozen fruit and blend. If we need a little extra protein we add a couple scoops of vanilla protein powder.
This front door/entryway image from Kay at @onceupona1912 was my favorite thing on Instagram this week. Isn’t it gorgeous? It just exudes summer, don’t you think?
I’ve purchased this Fleur de Sel (French salt) at least 5 times so it’s probably time to recommend it I saw that Ina Garten uses it and gave it a try – we love it! You can find it under ‘food favorites’ in my Amazon shop here.
What have you been enjoying this week? Any little things to share?
