Kimberly Uy's Blog: Spring Cleaning Month : The Grand Finale

It’s the last week of Spring Cleaning Month! Last week was Blinds, Drapes, Bed, and Bedding – I shared some how-tos for blinds and bedding. Go here to see all the posts from Spring Cleaning Month and from this series. This week is THE GRAND FINALE – Catch-All WEEK!

This week is all about catching up on any Spring Cleaning Tasks and giving the house a thorough once-over to finish it up. Here’s my checklist for the week:

dust all the surfaces in your home
vacuum all the floors in your home
wash all hard surface floors in your home
sweep/vacuum garage
sweep porch/patio

I added the Spring Cleaning Checklist tasks (link to the free printable is below) to my Homekeeping Planner (psst: grab it on sale and use the coupon code WHOOP for an additional $10 off through April 1st – this brings it to OVER 50% off). I plugged the spring cleaning tasks into days that it made sense with the Daily and Weekly Tasks. For instance, I’m doing the dusting on Tuesday – Dusting Day, Vacuuming all the floors on Wednesday – Vacuuming Day and washing all hard surface floors on Thursday – Floor Washing Day. On Friday and/ or Saturday we’ll work on the garage and porch as a family.
