Welcome to Cleaning Class! For this week’s cleaning class I’m going to teach you about my DAILY and WEEKLY cleaning routines. You’ll find the information in two places – here on the blog and on Instagram. I’m so excited to be sharing my tips and tricks for keeping a home clean and company ready with you!
I’ll be on Instagram quite a bit this week in Stories and going live – make sure you’re following along over there too.
If you think you are too busy to do a cleaning routine, I will disagree and tell you that you’re too busy not to do a cleaning routine. Try it out this week with me and I think you’ll find that just starting with the daily tasks brings order and calm to your home. If you work outside the home and are still skeptical, read this post and come back here.
DUST HOUSE

Dusting: Take a peek at what you’re dusting your home with – look at the back of your products. If you see warnings like: use in a ventilated room, or do not use around children, or if you are pregnant, think about that for a minute. If it’s harmful for children do you really want to use it? How can it be safe for you if it’s not safe for them? In my new book, I go into explicit detail about what is safe and what isn’t and I can tell you that there are probably things in your bathroom that you want to get rid of pronto. This week, try dusting with a barely damp microfiber cloth or just a dusting wand (this one is my favorite).

This is my favorite duster – you can see it and my other favorite products here.
If you haven’t checked out my free printables yet, I have two that will help you keep track of my cleaning routine – look under ‘clean home’ for Cleaning Routine at a Glance and Cleaning Routine Calendar.
If you haven’t heard, the 2020 Homekeeping Planner is coming back better than ever – sign up here to be the first to pre-order it! If you like my routine, you’ll LOVE my planner!
I’m linking up the days as we go this week – click below on any day to catch up!
