Hello, hello! How has your week been? We have had a great week with just enough busyness before the holiday rush of concerts, parties and activities. I have enjoyed working on our Christmas to-do’s and planning out what we are going to make for Christmas food and goodies. So many options!
On to my little things for the week. I always love Tiegan’s newsy Sunday emails and loved her list of holiday movies and shows this week. Modern Mrs. Darcy had two fun posts that I wanted to share, including festive holiday fiction finds and a gem of a cookie exchange post. The comments are gold! If you are feeling overwhelmed already, Emily Henderson had some words of wisdom that I appreciated. Lastly, I shared a holiday quick clean printable if you are lacking the time or energy for a top to bottom cleaning before guests.
I love Tiegan’s weekly nine favorite things posts and look forward to them every Sunday morning. She has a great roundup of holiday and Christmas shows and movies here and her weekly recipes here:
There are so many great books both new and old on this holiday fiction book recommendation post from Modern Mrs. Darcy. I have read several of them, but I am going to have a hard time narrowing down a new one to sink into. Here is an extra one from Modern Mrs. Darcy for you- a virtual cookie exchange. I am thoroughly enjoying checking out all the favorite cookie recipes in the comments.
It is easy to become overwhelmed with all the hoopla of the holidays and unrealistic expectations we place upon ourselves to make it “perfect”. I enjoyed these gentle reminders for the season from Emily Henderson.
Sometimes we just plain don’t have the time or energy for a thorough house cleaning before guests. Hit the high points with tips from this post and free printable.
I was on the Balancing Busy Podcast this week – check it out here!
Save the dates! Lots of fun things coming – check out what’s coming up – what are you most excited for?
